Cerebral Palsy

Early intervention makes all the difference

The brain is most able to change up to the ages of two and a half. Which is why therapy is so important in the early years for children with cerebral palsy. In this section you’ll find practical advice and pointers to help you maximise your child’s abilities, and plan for those all important transitions. When your child starts school or moves school they will have to contend with new environments and new people. Planning ahead is key so that everyone is focused on helping your child become a confident, successful learner.
