Join us for a helpful session on play and playfulness in children with cerebral palsy. We will explore ways to support play and engagement in children who:
- require significant physical assistance to move and engage in activities, and/or
- who are not able to use speech to easily communicate
Session content:
- Play vs playfulness
- Types of play
- Advice on adapting play activities for children with complex physical needs
- Additional practical tips and ideas to consider
The session will include a mixture of theory, case examples and practical ideas. Time permitting, there will be opportunity for questions and discussion.
