Our team of specialist therapists offer individual intensive therapy for any child up to the age of 18 living in Scotland with a primary diagnosis of cerebral palsy.
Our approach to therapy
Providing therapy using the Bobath concept is at the heart of what we do at Cerebral Palsy Scotland. Find out about our approach to therapy.
How many sessions does my child need?
The number of sessions provided will depend on your child and the goals you want to achieve. Once we have jointly discussed and agreed your therapy goals, we will then agree the number of sessions you need.
Midway through your sessions, the therapy team will assess whether your child is on target to achieve the goals set. The number of sessions can be changed if your child needs some further support.
Where are sessions held?
Sessions will take place at the Cerebral Palsy Scotland centre in Glasgow. If there’s an exceptional need, some sessions can also take place at your home or school.
How much does a group of sessions cost?
Through fundraising, Cerebral Palsy Scotland is able to cover a proportion of the cost of a group of therapy sessions. Families are asked to make a contribution to the total cost. Please see our guidance on funding for more information.
