The Big Give

The Big Give

Thank you for donating to The Big Give Christmas Challenge

Between 3-10 December 2024, we took part in the UK’s biggest match funding campaign, the Big Give Christmas Challenge, where all your donations are doubled, at no cost to you.

Our goal was to raise £20,000, which would be doubled through the Big Give to £40,000.

We are delighted to say we smashed our target, raising a final total of £45,235.

Thank you to every person who kindly donated.

Where your donations will go

This year, Big Give donations will go to providing more specialist therapy for children with cerebral palsy and their families, like Daniel and his mum Francesca.

Daniel and his mum Francesca have been accessing support from Cerebral Palsy Scotland since he was a baby. Watch our Big Give campaign video here to find out more about how specialist therapy has helped Daniel to reach his potential.

Your donation really does make a difference

Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in children – every two days a baby is born in Scotland with cerebral palsy. There is no cure for this lifelong condition but specialist therapy is the key to unlocking every child’s potential.

It can be devastating to get a lifelong diagnosis. Today in Scotland, there is not enough specialist support for people with cerebral palsy and, without us, families can be left with nowhere to turn.

For 30 years, we have been the only charity dedicated to supporting people with cerebral palsy in Scotland.

A donation to Cerebral Palsy Scotland means:

  • Unlocking communication, so a non-verbal child can make choices, or say how they’re feeling
  • A child learning to play with their siblings and favourite toys
  • Building confidence, so a child can dress themselves for school

Our work gives families skills for life and hope for the future, helping children with cerebral palsy lead better lives.

Thank you for donating to the Big Give.
