Dr Kirstie Rees is a Chartered Psychologist who works with our team on a regular consultancy basis. Trained as a Child and Educational Psychologist, she has many years of experience supporting children and young people with disabilities and their families. Kirstie is also trained in a number of therapeutic approaches and is passionate about helping both children and adults develop coping strategies that support their mental health and wellbeing.
Alongside her practical work, Kirstie has carried out research, delivered training, and written both academic papers and a book in this area. She has worked in three different local authorities in Scotland and previously tutored on the MSc in Educational Psychology at the University of Dundee. Kirstie is also a member of the British Academy of Childhood Disability Education Group.
