Advice on talking to your child about cerebral palsy
Kirstie Rees, our Chartered Psychologist, works alongside the therapy team, providing support and consultation for mental health, and creating useful resources. Kirstie has produced a leaflet, Talking to your child about cerebral palsy. The leaflet is aimed at parents, and includes advice about how to talk to your child about their diagnosis of cerebral palsy, as well as some helpful approaches that you can use to change negative thinking patterns and reduce anxiety levels.
