Morag is a solicitor with Mitchells Roberton becoming the first female Partner in the firm in 1993. After many years in her role as the Managing Partner, Morag became the first female Chairman of Mitchells Roberton in April 2021. As from 1 April 2025, as a move towards retirement Morag has moved to the role of Consultant: Morag still views people – both clients and colleagues to be at the core of business.

Morag has long been aware of the good work done by Cerebral Palsy Scotland and was delighted to be invited to join the Board as a Trustee in 2022, coinciding with the retirement of her former colleague Donald Reid who was a trustee for many years.

Mitchells Roberton traces its roots back as one of the oldest legal firms in Glasgow and takes pride in the fact that the firm has strong links with and has acted for a number of Glasgow Charitable Organisations.

The chance for Morag to be involved with Cerebral Palsy Scotland fits very well with the fact that Mitchells Roberton has helped families, generation after generation and constantly strives to preserve and strengthen the Mitchells Roberton caring culture within the business.

Morag brings to the Board her broad legal experience: for much of her legal career Morag specialised in areas of commercial practice acting for a wide range of clients in property disposals, acquisitions, leases and in offering a variety of business and general contract advice. Morag also has a large private client base and so gets involved in all sorts of issues for them too. She believes in providing a holistic approach to problem solving always looking at the wider picture.

Bernard Dunn C.A. has recently retired as client director with T L Dallas & Co Ltd. A family-owned insurance broking and risk advisory business, which celebrated 100 years in business in 2019. Bernard now sits as a Non-executive director of the group board of this company. He set up the Glasgow office of T L Dallas in 2011, and developed the business in the Glasgow , Edinburgh and Shetland offices. He has over 35 years experience in corporate risk and insurance, working with clients across a variety of business sectors.

• Family (married to Kathleen, 39 years ), three daughters, three grandsons and one Tibetan Terrier

Gill is a Director in Barclays Bank based in Glasgow, supporting operational risk and control within the Service Company. She lives with her family in Lenzie and is a full-time working mum of two, balancing the juggles of day-to-day life. Gill first found Cerebral Palsy Scotland after her daughter suffered a stroke during her birth which led to an early diagnosis of hemiplegic cerebral palsy. The family then became part of Bobath Babies until her daughter “graduated” from the group.

Gill aims to combine her first-hand experience of the charity with her business skillset to support growth and challenge where appropriate and therefore further the aims and objectives of the charity. She is also keen to give something back to Cerebral Palsy Scotland, teaching her daughters the importance of charitable work and inclusion.

Katie joined the board of Trustees in May 2019.  She is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a background in Charitable Trusts having worked for 13 years for The Robertson Trust.  She was Head of Finance and Resources before laterly moving to Head of Social Investment.  She now works within the SME sector on a consultancy basis.
